There is an art to this but can be mastered pretty easily if you know how. Firstly, we want to share a top tip with you...... don't match foundation to your hand colour! Always match your face to your neck and décolletage and you can afford to go slightly lighter as once bronzer, powder and blush is added to your face it may appear darker than the foundation alone.
Test foundations before you buy and look at the colours in natural daylight rather than in artificial light.
If your skin has a more pink tone to it you'll want to choose a cool shade. Not sure what your skin tone is? Take a look at the veins on your wrist and if they are blue a cool shade will suit you best. Green veins on wrists relate to yellow undertones and if you are uncertain of your skin tone (blue/green veins) then you should opt for a neutral shade.
